our rock gorund oreburgh city gym leader is bonzo just wanted to say it is official now we need 7 more gym leaders cmon guys! make sure you tryout!!!

and its rock and ground! so i can use gliscore garchomp and quagsire watch out!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually he can be Rock/Ground Somebody will have to battle him for his position Dengakuman.

but then thats no fair, why happens if one person only wants rock, then bonzo still looses his position, if he would like either rock/ ground, with the maximium (i belive) is one filler, then he may. also in the game they are only 1 type with fillers, since this is a pokemon site, with gym that we are doing like the game, then is it not reasonable to make him chose 1 type, as in the game/anime/manga? he may have a filler, of any type he choses (i think). but that is my opionion....

I agree with Dengakuman on this one. Rock and ground are different types and should be kept that way, especially since we're allowing 1 filler... There are only 17 types, and if you let gym leaders take up 2 types each, you're not going to have enough types to create a Pokemon League.

Alright then...

if you watch the anime brocks gym is a rock type but as his onix is evolved it is a steel and ground type and not many pokemon are just rock or rock and ground so that doesn't give me much of a choice also its a rock BASED gym and as rock and ground are VERY simaliar.

brock also has a marshtomp

also when roarks onix will evolve it ill be steelix and no gym is a ground one so lets change that why do we have to follow pokemon exactly challangers will bring only water types which is no defence 4 me i need some chance of winning at least even if i cant switch pokemon.

theres only 6 pure rock pokemon

no when we say 1 type you can use anything that is part rock...any pokemon that is rock or part rock,,,,and 1 filler.

no you can use mixed types aswell

example rock dark (tyranitar)
steel rock (aggron)

and others like that...you can use any rock type/ part rock type...and 1 filler..

so you can use all 38 and 1 filler...
